Criminal Defense
We represent Wyoming residents in felony and misdemeanor matters throughout the State, most often on the I-80 and I-25 corridors, including Cheyenne, Casper, Laramie, Douglas, Gillette and Rawlins
Our rates depend on numerous factors. It is our goal to make our services accessible to as many Wyomingites as possible.
Family Law
We help Wyoming families navigate divorce, custody modifications, paternity and child support actions throughout the State of Wyoming. Additionally, we offer Guardian ad Litem services where physical and legal custody are at issue.
Family law services are priced according to the complexity of the matter and the client’s ability to pay.
General Civil Litigation
We provide counsel in contract, real property and tort disputes throughout the State.
Pricing varies on the complexity of the matter and other factors that will be discussed during the consultation
the initial consultation
step one
We offer a free 15 minute consultation to discuss your individual case and to see if our firm is a good fit for your matter. We will collect some information about you and the opposing party to make sure that our firm does not have a conflict, and then proceed to the consultation.
the Engagement Letter
step two
If our firm is a good fit for your matter, we will send an Engagement Letter usually by email. You’ll review the letter, make certain it reflects our agreement, and sign and return it to us. We will also send a Caret Pay link to you so that you may pay the fees for representation electronically if you choose.
the background questionnaire
step three
We will then send a list of questions specific to the type of representation we are offering-the questionnaire will include the information we need to file the required legal pleadings in your matter.
our process
Of course, we will answer this like lawyers because that’s what we are. It depends on a number of factors, including the area of law in which you require services, the complexity of the matter, travel time, whether the attorney on the other side is amenable to pretrial resolution and mediation and other associated factors. We make it our goal to be accessible to working people. If it were possible to offer fixed pricing we would; however, legal services are just too dependent on the matter at hand.

We believe that most law enforcement officers are trying to do the right thing for the right reasons with the tools made available to them. Having said that, they have a job to do. They focus on solving crimes and clearing cases. Most do so ethically and diligently, but is it worth risking your freedom to speak with them alone? For more, please watch the video below-which is not our work.
To be frank, you should be able to. Unfortunately, family law has grown far too complex for non-lawyers to navigate. There are required affidavits, Guardians ad Litem, Initial Disclosures, pretrial discovery, and many other requirements that have been added to the law over decades. Your Decree of Divorce will define your rights to property, the nature of your relationship with your children, and ongoing obligations for decades. While it is possible to do it yourself, we strongly recommend that you hire an attorney to guide you through the process.
No-in fact, quite the opposite. Medical marijuana cards are sometimes seized as evidence of controlled substance offenses. Marijuana remains unlawful in Wyoming, and if you’ve been charged with possession of a controlled substance you should know that important rights such as access to public housing, financial aid for education and future employment are all in jeopardy. Any criminal charge requires an attorney to advocate for you-the State always has one working for it.
ABSOLUTELY NOT. While we recognize the importance of fulfilling one’s obligations, you should know that some unethical collection companies depend on you ignoring the summons. If you fail to answer timely in a civil suit, default judgment can enter against you-you can lose the game without ever stepping foot on the field. The worst thing to do if you have been served papers is to ignore them.
